This is not a fight, this is what we call an event. THE MOMENT - Where will you be when the moment comes? You never know what can happen in boxing. Douglas vs. Tyson, Rahman vs. Lewis, Tarver vs. Jones and many others. You never know when that moment arrives when the underdog prevails.
Joking aside though, I'm actually going to the fight. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time. It's not the best matchup, I'll admit that. But Maidana has certainly improved with Robert Garcia. I think Maidana will rough it up more than Canelo and Guerrero did and in the process risk getting stopped.
But 70 dollars? I don't know about that - it's worth it if you have a bunch of friends over and want good quality and have a nice evening of boxing. I'm looking forward to seeing the fight live but even more so the atmosphere in Vegas which I've heard is great surrounding a Mayweather fight. It really is more of an event than a fight in this case.Comment

I won't be buying only because i will be on a beach resort celebrating cinco de drinko that weekend. Perhaps the hotel will have it on somewhere.
I probably would purchase it if I was in town though. The main event is a crap matchup but Maidana, Khan, and Broner are usually good for entertaining fights so I don't see how any hardcore fight fan wouldn't want to tune in. NSB may shut down due to all the threads even before the main event starts.Comment

I've always found it amusing how Tunney so easily manipulates the Pacquiao fanatics to serve his own purposes. The enemy of my enemy is my friend indeed.Comment

Nope. I don't need to see the fight to know Floyd wins a wide UD with little drama other than numerous shoulder rolls, elbows, forearm pushes/smashes, etc.Comment

Not at all.
I've said from day 1 that I think this will be a tough fight for Floyd.
I didn't think Canelo, Guererro, Cotto, Oritz, Mosley etc would be real tough tests and you can check the history.
This is the first fight in a while I've felt will be a real test for Mayweather.
I say it how I see it. No more no less.
boggles the mind
yeah sometimes people do that...they get to feel something without putting thoughts into it. it's like premonition...a feeling without rational basisComment
