What is messed up is how he was able to get away with blatant racism motivated hate crime, the white cops let him go with a assualt charge he got like 2 years but the judge felt sorry for him and let him out after 40 days.

What happened was Wahlberg started focusing his racism and violence mainly on Asians after he got in trouble for throwing rocks at a black kid and injured some girls instead.

He used to mainly pick on blacks, but he was told not to be because he could get caught with a hate crime.

Asians were easy victims they minded their own business and many of them were frail an had no protection since there was few of them in his area.

Mark did one of the most cowardly heartless acts of violence, one day he took a wooden 2 by 4 and blind sided some old Asian man who was taking beer out of his trunk he hit the guy so hard with the hard wood that the guy dropped instantly slamming his face on the concrete and was out cold and having some seizures, Mark spit on the guy and was calling him a G00k and Vietnamese **** and laughing hard and did 3 more stomps on the guy before taking his beer and leaving him in a pool of blood out cold.

As Mark was running away from police he asked a old Asian man to help hide him from police, but when the Police came Mark sucker punched the old skinny man and he dropped to the floor and wound up losing vision in his eye from the damage.

While he was in police hands, Mark Wahlberg was using Racist terms like "Slant-eyed g--ks" and other slurs, he said yeah i did it because that guy was a ****** Vietnamese g00k, and the messed up part is he never got a hate crime charge he basically got a slap on the wrist.

    He was super violent man.
    What a piece of ****.

yeah man, when I read the reports from what he did he should be locked up for 25 years to be honest.

He was able to get off using the Drugs excuse. He claimed he was addicted to drugs and it made him do those things. he was not his normal self.

BS excuse. I feel like generally that type of stuff doesn't leave your heart, but you never know.

        Still, that's some wretched ****.

definitely should've gotten more time for that.

Drugs do indeed make you do things you would not have done sober, this is the truth.

its no excuse though, there are people who are drugged up on ******* and weed who still are coherent and functional.

Look at a lot of these actors they are taking hits of ******* but can act normal in interviews.

Undoubtedly what he did was some awful and inexcusable ****, but I believe that people can grow out of stuff they did as teenager. Now granted, what he did wasn't your normal, rebellious teenage ****. What he did was serious, serious stuff.

But I also think people have to take into account growing up in South Boston. Not that I'm some Southie expert or that it justifies an excuse for what he did -- but South Boston at that time was a rough, rough place. Mob infested and as violent it gets. Maybe looking back he realizes how wrong it is what he did.

Again if Wahlberg truly had hatred for Asians in his heart why would he be showing up at training camps and going to fights supporting arguably the biggest Asian sports star on the planet.

I get that drugs can make you do crazy things, but this type of stuff is clearly premeditated.

I can't forgive him for something like this, but I do think he's changed.
