Nobody is the same as they were 3-4 years ago..we are organic beings..we age, our bodies breakdown..our bodies evolve on a daily basis. I mean its simple basic biology. It's funny people are making so much of this like it's a problem..I have no problem with the fighter I saw this saturday. He should've answered a ton of questions while yes leaving some on the table but he answered a whole lot of questions..the topic of discussion here should really be..does manny's new approach to fighting suit his abilities or not.

People keep talking about that "hunger" and crazy Pacman of years ago. However Pacman has had to change his game to beat these guys he's been challenging. He can't pull a Ricky Hatton on everybody. I think after the Hatton KO, anything less has been treated as a failure in the eyes of his critics for whatever reason.

As far as I am concerned, to throw the punches he throws, move the way he does, and still fight with energy throughout a 12 round fight, shows he still has it. He's fighting more durable guys than the Hatton that went back down to 140lb years ago. They are quality opposition. Some of them pretty big.

Mosley. Great chin. Margarito. Great chin. Rios. Great chin. Bradley. Shown a great chin and wasn't the easiest to hit. Marquez, great chin and Manny's kryptonite. Joshua Clottey. Great chin. Cotto, beat up over 12 rounds.

Go back 3-6 years ago, he clocked Hatton, peppered DLH until he quit, battered David Diaz's chin until he fell in 9 and beat Cotto up over 12 rounds. That doesn't mean he was "better". Look at the guys he's fought since then.

Clottey - chin, covers up
Margarito - chin, Manny moved a lot to be smart vs a bigger man
Mosley - chin, Mosley stayed at a distance
Marquez III / IV - chin, since when is Marquez easy to knockout?
Bradley - decent chin, was a bit elusive so where Manny had no business fighting recklessly
Rios - chin, Manny coming off a KO has to fight smart

Point is that Manny is fighting quality guys and is at a point in his career where it's smart to fight smart.

Since the drug testing pac aint been the same. Using PED is the only you go through the weights and retains power. He beat the hell out of guys he shudnt have been allowed to fight.
