Regardless of the outcome, the fights went 12 rounds. And that is ring experience, is it not? The experience is a good thing, not a negative. It's not like he got stopped or took a great deal of punishment.

Very similar to Garcia vs. Matthysse too. Everyone was like Garcia is ducking Matthysse, he's scared, he won't dare step in the ring. Yeah, it is similar, for the very reasons I've already outlined. And it centered around the disbelief that it would actually happen.

Lara was Alvarez's mandatory for like a year. He won 2 or 3 eliminator fights that were supposed to land him a title shot. This fight should have already happened.

Matthysse and Garcia fought pretty close to right away. You can argue that Garcia should have fought Matthysse instead of Judah, but Golden Boy decided on the mini-tournament instead.

Every time anyone accuses anyone of ducking, "Is this the next Garcia/Matthysse?"
