As a Canelo fan im glad he took this as it'll be a difficult fight but he should state a catchweight instead of trying to make and miss the weight.

The problem is not weight. The problem is purely PRIDE.

The belt that Lara possesses belonged to Canelo. But Canelo lost the belt because he lost to Floyd Mayweather. Instead of the belt belonging to Mayweather, the belt was given to Lara after he beat Austin Trout. Essentially, they made Lara a paper champion, and that's not Lara's fault.

Canelo isn't going to fight Lara for a belt that Lara did not earn through beating him or Floyd Mayweather. Again, he has pride. And his pride is rightfully justified and logical. It's the ****** belts (super, regular, etc) that are illogical.
