That's interesting. Didn't think of that. The fights aren't particularly meaningful, but they they do have world title/HBO implications.

Still, I'm willing to bet this will be one of the most fun PPV undercards this year.

When GBP can stack a Mayweather card with known names/good fights, I expect Top Rank to at least try to match that or better yet try and beat that, but nope....

I like how Bob keeps complaining about the fights ShowTime and GBP put on saying theyre not competitive and this and that. ShowTime and GBP and Mayweather put on the best undercards and they put on the best mega fights they can make which are consistently better than Top Rank's which is no knock on Manny but fact is Floyd is the one making these fights not competitive its not for a lack of quality in opposition, they've had the same opponents Marquez, Cotto, Shane, Oscar, Hatton bla bla bla and Manny struggled with some and not others and vice versa and they had other guys in between, Rios, Ortiz, Guerrero, Clottey, Bradley, Canelo, Maidana, Margarito...as far as I see it they've fought the same quality opponents but Floyd done better at marketing himself and fought guys who are younger and have bigger names and put on much better undercards

Arum did say that fans don't really care about undercards. So I'm glad HBO is forcing him to change that policy.

Oh and of course Floyd never lost any of those fights or got KO'd and he's all around better than Manny so if people don't find his fights as competitve its because he has a winning style and never lost for anyone to take his fights as seriously where as Manny has shown vulnerabilities so Bob Arum can go eat a bag of ****s when he talks bs saying Floyd fights bums or one sided fights, no he fights the best he's got just like Manny if not slightly better and makes it look easy and your butthurt he left you and made all that money

I am looking forward to Vazquez/felix because I think it's going to be a good fight, but I don't think it belongs on ppv, maybe if they had like pac/Bradley,then another championship fight in co feature and a solid fight like two ranked fighters getting an elimination fight and this one here opening the telecast it would be ok,but there is nothing interesting about all three undercard fights, especially the vargas one,man I wish they would stop putting him in ppv's..i think all ppv events should have two championship fights and the other two should be guys in top ten

It's an ok fight, but you just know that will be the best offered which is not good enough. I'm just saying that HBO shouldn't come out with statements like this when they will broadcast another soft PPV undercard. Ultimately HBO has little say in this matter.

Beltran/Usmanee should have a lot of action
Which one isn't the competitive one?
