This card reeks of Top Rank garbage

This card is weak sauce in terms of implications and significance.

You got Khan and Broner fighting alongisde Mayweather next month, all meaningful fights for each and very determining of their future in the sport. These type of fights add that much more excitement to a card and of course we fans feel we are getting a quality product.

With TR though, I pay the same amount $70-75 for the PPV yet I feel as if I am only paying for the main event itself. The type of card you sort of want to end early just to get to the main event and you kind of lose a lot of the duration of the experience. It is over just like that because you didn't get to enjoy the first 2 hours.

Not a deal breaker for me as I have and will always purchase PPVs BUT it would be nice if TR would step their game up. I can overlook it in this case because the main event is very solid and is well worth the price tag itself.

HBO is a sleeping giant. Even while asleep they still managed to pump out fights week after week at the end of last year. Fights with very high ratings. And they're still going strong. And even when GBP/Haymon took all their fighters with them. Fighters that HBO built up. All SHO had to do is let their fighters fight each other. They're already built up.

Everybody on the undercard will be headlining on HBO later this year so get used to it.

Provodnikov will fight the Khabib/Vargas winner and Crawford will fight the Beltran/Usmanee winner.

Why would they do this? Didn't Arum say that the fans don't really care about undercard fights. When did Arum start promoting again? Last year?

Most of it is appeal to the PR population with multiple PR names on it.

              Sonsona/WV2 interests me though.

Must be really bad when we can accept this one as "competitive"... I don't mind Beltran-usmanee but in general Top Rank cards are never stacked, they can end up competitive in the end but it's never stacked with good names/fights going in.

Lol, Glad we don't really pay for fights over here. Normally I sleep till the main events when it comes to Top Rank fight cards.
