For Fliyd to take a supposed "risk", he needs to fight Middleweights according to people lol

I do think floyd gets much more criticism for not fighting "who he shoud fight" than other fighters that do the same thing.

What would you call the risk taking fights? Would your opinion of "risk" change when the betting odds came out and those fighters were 3-1 or 4-1 underdogs?

What do the odds even mean?

Broner was huge favourite over Maidana was that a risk?

Hopkins was the underdog against Cloud and Pascal are you telling me they were risky fights?

Because if they're risky fights then how the hell aren't Canelo, Hatton, Mosley etc risky fights?

I think your missing my point.

I am not saying those fights weren't risky. what I'm saying is if I see 2 fights and both opponents are 3-1 underdogs I'm thinking the favorites are facing the same basic amount of risk.

With floyd specifically it seems thew amount of risk is determined differently.

Look at the subtle body language. Hopkins puts both of his hands on Mayweather, a subconscious display of control.

Canelo is definitely better than chinny Stevenson.

Yeah I agree aswell I'm just saying for the sake of the argument.

The different level of standards are just ridiculous.

In that time span Floyd has fought multiple P4P fighters, multiple champions, multiple Top 5 ranked guys yet somehow takes no risks?

I want to know a fighter that does take risks.
