Funny story about bhop and Holyfield...they were at some event sitting side by side. Hopkins said to Holyfield he should retire and he's embarrassing the sport. Hopkins said Holyfield heard him , sort of mumbled and put his head down and carried on eating his salad.

If he does put the man in top 10-15 all time greats. His longevity it unknown and the man continues to look like he doesn't lose any momentum.
With out a doubt one of the greatest to lace them up!

for bhop to have all that collected experience, still be in close to peak physical condition at his age, beating the best young fighters of the current time.. its incredible.. it's not like bhop is a devastating power puncher he would have used pure boxing smarts and experience to do it..
Hold on, so you're saying that his age is barely a disadvantage (experience makes him better, and he's close to his peak physical) and you think that beating frickin' Stevenson and Kovalev should make him the GOAT? STEVENSON AND KOVALEV.

Yes, what he has done is incredible, but it's no way near GOAT. And he isn't beating the best young fighters either, he lost to Dawson who isn't even the best. And I wouldn't pick him against a couple of younger fighter which he hasn't fought.

            Hopkins will beat Shumenov
don't buy him beating Stevenson at this point
same thing with Kovalev, he's too old for those guys
his legs aren't as good now, they'd be too strong for him
would love to see Hopkins kick both their asses, but it won't happen
beating Shumenov is enough for him to retire on
it's just 2 paper belts, but at his age that's still good shit
