I think that near half a foot reach advantage is just too advantageous for Floyd. He can get off as fast or almost as fast as Pac can, controls distance very well (even moreso when under the tutelage of Floyd Sr.), and has a ****ing 5+ inch reach advantage.

This was McGirt's Gatti that was just trying to prolong his career by winning with more boxing. Heck, just like Oscar, Gatti had trouble making 140 by then. It was his last fight at 140 and Gatti was no WW.
I said in the post that Floyd beat a punching bag. What part of punching bag is too hard for you to understand ?

For the record, the Gatti that Mayweather fought had already was stopped by De La Hoya and Angel Manfredy and was outpointed twice by Ivan Robinson. Hardly the opponent to measure a victory by.

And for the record, the DLH that Manny fought was a walking corpse due to weight draining. It goes both ways.

DLH gets so overrated on this these boards it's not even funny. . He might have been more competitive but those styles ate all wrong for him. . Do you fools even watch boxing? !?!?

He was finished after Floyd's first round cheap shot, that's where Floyd learned the Ortiz KO.

It's an even fight and I voted for Pacquiao. Pacquiao was lightning fast and razor sharp that night but so was Mayweather against Gatti. The biggest difference is Pacquiao averaged about 100 punches thrown each round while Mayweather averaged less than half that many per round. That might be enough to win it for Pacquiao.
