Just watched this fight again first time since the night of the fight, Groves wins 1,2,3,4,6 clearly.

Froch wins 5,7,8 and 9 at the time of the stoppage.

Stoppage was a bad stoppage, Groves should have been given the opportunity to fight it out, The referee not only ruined it for Groves but also ruined it for Froch because there is no doubt Froch was in control and putting it on Groves and Groves was indeed gassed he wasn't being hit cleanly but Froch's punches were throwing Groves around he was almost gone In my honest opinion.

    They were both robbed.

I don't see how a 37/38 year old can be the same fighter after the amount of huge shots he took in the first fight.

Groves has annoyed me a lot with the way he going about it now, he's being disrespectful to Froch and it's uncomfortable to watch. There is no doubt that Grovya technically, he needs to blend the styles from the first Froch fight and the Degale fight and meet in the middle, if he does that he wins a fairly comfortable decision.

If Froch's chin is cracked, Groves stops him in 4. That's a distinct possibility, IMO.

You talk and talk and tomorrow Hearn will put on sale other 20,000 seats and sell them all in 10 minutes...
        Get it?

You think Froch won round 7!? That was gone of Groves' best rounds, he dished out plenty and took little in return

I've seen a few people score that round for Froch. Probably because he didn't take the kind of beating that he did in the previous round.

I watched the fight again and GRoves was - 6 rounds up going into round 9 and with the knock down early in the fight he would of had an extra point - I agree Groves was tired and trying to ride out the 9th out to re-charge for the last 3 rounds and the ref goes ahead spoils the fight - he gifted Carl and Carl knows that, just look at the build up he can't look at Groves in the eyes and the councelling well that explains it all. Groves has won the psychological war- this will be an easy fight for Groves. Neutral officials are definitely needed for this fight and not a incompotent ref who didn't even look in Groves eyes the first rule a ref does before stopping a fight.

Froch has nothing to prove to anyone.

Groves couldn't beat him despite having Froch on the verge of being stopped so I can't see it happening again now that Groves wont be underestimated.
