The only chance Carl has is for a confident, over enthusiastic Groves to leave himself open or gamble on catching Groves late on . It doesn't look good for Carl , he's taking a fight the public want but deep down he knows he doesn't and to be using a sports psychologist only goes to show he can neither handle Groves on the safe side of the ropes. The more I see of this , the more I think Carl is in trouble and once those jabs and powerful right hands of Groves start to detonate on Froch's jaw again , I think we might just see some thing no Froch fan ever expected !
Carl's had a great career and Iv'e supported him many times but to hear him wind on about Groves's behaviour before the first fight is truly delusional, George was very matter of fact where as Carl was talking about George's bad breath and personal stuff....not looking good Carl!
From the beginning, Groves beat Froch to the jab... That was a surprise for Froch... But Groves stayed physically tensed for many rounds -- which apparently produced fatigue... Actually Froch was able to employ his usual routine in the later rounds...
In my opinion, in order to win, Groves has to KO Froch quite early...

Froch is getting old. Would have loved to see Andre Ward get a referee who won't let him hold all night and fight Froch in the UK. But Ward has that Mayweather cautious streak in him.

Froch won the first fight legitimately. Froch should win this fight easier especially if groves tries to slug instead of run. Yes run and not box.

I came across a video that really seemed to sum up how Carl tries to bully George with his warrior persona he plays. Carls bringing up knocking George down in sparring but George turns it right around saying; was I hurt, and did I not come back the next day and beat you up? Carls being spoken over and seems to have no return.

If Carls seeing a psychologist then it shows hes only just admitted he lost the psychological war with George in the past, otherwise if you felt you had the upper hand you wouldnt bother. And it cant be going that well, because he wont look George in the eyes, and looked rattled at the stadium shoot and pushed him when George was saying keep it together, which clearly he couldnt. Then Carls brother has to speak for him which is frankly embarrassing.

Watch Froch be calm and collective and put a schooling on Groves in the 2nd fight.

Mr Froch, you got royally exposed and saved with a gift stoppage.

I can't wait to see Groves humiliate you in the rematch.

Prediction: Mr Groves breakes Froch's BIG NOSE en route to a convincing win.

I think Carl Froch was a bit exposed technically during the first fight.

He did work his way back in during the middle rounds and Groves started to get a little bit carried away which benefited Froch.

In my mind Groves is a much better technical boxer with a very decent jab, right hand and footwork.

Froch likes to trade toe to toe and relies on eating a few shots in order to land his own. His chin (IMO) is better than Groves.

If Groves had been a little more reserved in the mid rounds and stayed behind his jab instead of getting drawn in by Froch the he could have finished the fight strongly and well ahead on points.

Groves would appear to be smart enough to adapt and learn from the first fight, I am not I can say the same thing about Froch.

This is a great fight in prospect because Groves has the hunger, ambition and confidence whereas Froch has experience, pride (ego) and his legacy to protect.

Anyone who thinks because Groves out boxed him in the first fight hes going to do it again is just ridiculous, Froch was dropped HARD in the very first round from a shot that would of put many a fighter to sleep, His legs turned to jelly, his arms heavy, his head dazed, his balance gone, Embarrassment, confidence in the drain, Do you think after that first round we saw the real Froch ?

Of course Groves looked a million dollars in the rounds after that knockdown, Froch would be using every ounce of his strength just trying to stay on his feet boxing goes out of the window.

If anything you would have to question how Groves wasn't capable of getting Froch out of there and how Groves gassed so hard, If I was Froch I would be extremely confident that if I stuck to a game plan that in those later rounds Groves is going to go down, Froch has taken everything literally everything groves could give him and he still came back and stopped him. Thats why I go with Froch again .

face it froch, you were getting soundly outboxed because you are technically not very good and it showed. froch always has been and always will be a will over skill type fighter. dirrell showed it aswell, when somebody with a bit of technical skill fights froch he struggles.

We all know Froch can fight better than he did in the first fight. Not sure about Groves i think he might have got lucky and caught Froch by surprise.

From the off Groves had him timed with the counter jab and straight right. Midway through the fight he learned to time him in close with the right hook. In the return bout he'll have those tools from the opening bell.

If Froch is to drag him out into the deep water of the late rounds, and that is the only strategy he has, he'll have to ship a tremendous amount of punishment. More so than the first fight. I don't think he has that in him at this point in his career.

                      Groves by stoppage. Inside six.
