That's why these Mayweather PPV numbers don't paint a complete picture. What good are big numbers when you're spending way more than you make? They make a huge deal of the numbers, yet they don't make a huge deal of how much money they would have to spend to get those numbers: Expensive undercards, expensive Access made by amateurs, expensive ads, expensive Mayweather, you name it.

There was an article about this a couple days ago before Arum went on his explosive rant.

the MGM guy basically used Pac vs. Bradley to help promote the Mayweather fight, they figured it would help them because there was no interest in that fight.

Its similar to the Guerrero fight, that is why they didn;t do that multiple city press touring or whatever.

They learned not to invest much into a fight that isn't going to do well on ppv anyway.

Its pretty shameless promotion though lol, MGM got exposed bad here.

in saying that i cant believe pac v bradley 2 is not sold out ????
if bob puts on a world class undercard pac v bradley 2 would do better numbers than floyd v maidana !
