Isn't Lara UNDER CONTRACT to fight Ishe Smith already. Why would Canelo "make him him an offer" when Lara is obviously committed to a fight already. He's coming off as a ****in diva imo. It's like he's saying **** your fight with Smith, fight me, and if Lara refuses to fight Canelo will say the cuban is afraid of him. Canelo still has three fights left in the year, let Lara fight Smith meanwhile you take on somebody else. After their respective fights they can go ahead and negotiate for a matchup later in the year.

If you bothered to read the other stories, part of the negotiations that Schaffer is trying to do is to cancel the Lara/Smith fight so Lara has ample time to train for a fight with Canelo in July.

Lara went to Canelo's press conference challenging him to his next fight, knowing full well that he already had a fight signed with Smith.

His promoters give a f-ck about the schedule. Because they have to set up venues, press conferences, tours, TV dates that don't interfere with other events. etc.

Well his promoters are here trying to remedy the mistake of putting Lara in a fight with Smith.

They're trying to break up a pretty pointless fight, so we can get the fight we want. Or at least that most people want excluding you.
