They can afford to pay Smith his whole purse not to fight and it wouldn't put a dent on the profit margins from this fight. Lara and Canelo happens July 12th...if Smith is any kind of businessman he'd take the money and get a spot on the undercard as well plus a challenge to whoever wins. Lara if he ain't all talk will agree to it as well.

I guess Lara vs Smith would have to be canceled. There's no way Lara can fight two fights with such very tight schedule. It's impossible.

I have Canelo winning a wide UD maybe late stoppage, Lara is good at what he does but its pretty basic, simple, uncreative stuff.....I want to clearly convey that he is nowhere near Floyd's skill level.

            Pay...per...view. Wow.

This is the moment Lara's been waiting for. He better make the most of it. I believe this will be a very good fight. Both men have something to fight for.

I don't know, but in terms of entertainment value, that was bad.

This would be a Canelo draw, attraction. Not Canelo and a great undercard. He would earn his money and deserve co-top billing. He can carry a show, but it has to be a good show, Lara is a good show.

But really who knows Lara to make that a bigger show, the point wasn't that is was not a good choice by Canelo or a very good fight because it is that also.

The point was that Canelo did not have to make this choice here and now, there were other lesser options that would still likely garner similar numbers
