Ive said all along that he's not afraid of him and hasnt done anything that should be considered ducking. Not only that but in his career he has legitmatly tried to fight guys like Cotto, Kirkland, Williams, etc.... but everyone rags on the kid. I said I bet anything that Canelo feels the same way about Lara that he did about Trout and has no fear. Doesnt mean Lara cant or wont win but Canelo was never afraid or ducking him

So now what the haters will have to say ?
1 - Canelo was afraid of Trout................He took the challenge, he beat him, very tightly but he did it
2 - Canelo demanded Paul Williams.................Paul had that unfortunate accident, fight didn't happened
3 - Canelo demanded Kirkland....................not sure what happened there but, I heard something about a Kirkland injury, and a beef with GBP about asking a lot of money.
4 - Canelo demanded Ortiz....................Josesito broke his jaw so he had to take on Josesito.
5 - Canelo demanded Floyd--------------He had his only loss from an ATG, and arguably the best defensive fighter of boxing history.
6 - Canelo demanded Angulo................ the dude who gave Lara his toughest fight of his career, the dude who was the first bigger dude againsta Canelo, Canelo demolished him.
7 - Canelo demands Lara..................the "Boggeyman" of the 154 lbs'
Stop hatin and wether he wins or loses give him props, for God's sake.
My take? I got Lara on this one by UD............but...............Lara ain't nothing close to Floyd, so I could see Canelo hurting the dude with those hard body shots, only time will tell if Canelo gets very smart for this dangerous fight.

Great, great news.
Win, lose or draw, you gotta admire Canelo. He is a top 5 draw in boxing, yet he is willing to fight the best, regardless of the risk/reward ratio. If he is not "good for the sport", I don't know who is.
And I don't care what anyone says, if he beats Lara, he cracks my P4P list.

If Canelo is actually asking for Lara, I might start to believe. JMM should give him some credit.
