Yes, it would of happened sooner or later, Ortiz is not mentally there in boxing, he is too involved outside of boxing or he would be tearing up a division or two right now.

Robert Garcia laid him out in an interview. Have a read as its quite in depth.

When it comes to Garcia on Ortiz I take everything he says with a grain of salt. Sure Ortiz has earned all the crap he gets, but Robert and him have a really bad history and anything they say about the other is biased as ****.

naah he just exposed ortiz real colors.

Maidana did a great job doing that, but it was bound to happen sooner or later for ortiz.

              Kotelnik?

Please go and educate yourself about boxing, Kotelnik won that fight even if it was close.

And for Ortiz, that boy ruined himself, he shouldn't be in the sport, shown that he is not worthy of earning the 6 figure $ that he does.

Harsh but I see and train with people who eat sleep and breath boxing, what they would do to spend a day in Victors shoes and he just decides to quit like a pu$sy each and every time.

No,Maidana just exposed Ortiz for the weak hearted fighter that he is.Before the Maidana fight, nobody has ever pushed Ortiz as hard as Maidana did.

Ortiz almost ALWAYS absorbs a lot of punishment.

He has no technique, he's just a good athlete. Peterson, Lopez, even Berto gave him a beating. He had Peterson early on, but he back off to admire his handiwork, who the f do you think you are? Floyd Mayweather?

Maidana didn't ruin him. Ortiz was never going to be resilient. The guy has no jab at all, just a strong fast straight left.

I don't think he exposed Ortiz more of like showed him his limits as a fighter. Maidana was Ortiz first big step up. Ortiz was probably confident going into the fight but after he dropped maidana and maidana showed heart and hurt Ortiz he damaged him mentally Ortiz wasn't expecting the beat down he recieved. And to be fair to Ortiz after maidana most of the dudes he fought were names so I don't knock him but I think he is well and truly done now that josesito took his jaw off.
