Is Rigondeaux THE most underrated boxer out there?

It WAS huge, the best single win in 2013. People will appreciate it even more when Donaire beats Vetyeka and goes on to unifiy the FW division.
Donaire will be to Rigo what Darch was to him. And maybe one day the rematch will happen (though I don't hold my breath).Comment

It was a great win. I've seen the fight a few times. I think it rates about an 8/10 in terms of enjoyability factor. Rigo was masterful.Comment

rigo is really only underrated on boxing boards where most of the members are younger and prefer power over skill. I had him beating Donaire and wasn't suprised that Rigo looked so good.
I wouldn't argue with anyone who has him in the top 3-5 boxers in the world.Comment

8/10 because you are a Rigo fan. For me, a Donaire fan, it was torture. Ruined my mood for half a day, and that's about the worst a sporting event can do to me.
You wait for your guy to finally get going, the rounds are going by, and it's just not happening...Comment

It must've ****** to be on the other end of that one. I was at the fight live, and the Donaire fans all seemed to have your reaction. As the fight wore on, they had less and less to cheer for. I've certainly seen more entertaining and competitive fights; but I thought that, from an objective standpoint, the fight was pretty enjoyable...if you appreciate pure boxing skill. I think that few 122 lb fighters could've beaten Rigo that night. He was razor-sharp.Comment

Rigo is pretty much accepted as the champion of his division. Underrated may be the wrong word. If anything he has become the scapegoat for blood and guts fans that dont like technicians.Comment
