Can we Ban or Suspend Posters For Calling Fighters "Bums" ?

How on earth is coward boxing lingo? Forums have been around hardly a decade.Yeah it is pretty annoying hearing these e-warriors call professional fighters "bums," "cowards" and "cans." However, it's boxing lingo and terms that are deeply rooted into boxing's history. So, although the terms are thrown around too loosely nowadays by just about anybody, it's would be extreme to ban posters for such words IMO.
And most in here didn't get started until the Pacquiao/Mayweather era sadly.Comment

Freedom of Speech....
I agree the term gets overused alot, but its easier to type bum, instead of a guy that is a level or 2 below his opponentComment

Why does the solution to every problem like this have to be Bannings? I think the admin is stoopid enough banning people when they want to censor a topic...and your solution to the problem feeds right into their ignorant butt hurtness.Or "cans?" Or any other type of that stuff?
I see this crap way too much on this site. Kovalev isn't a bum, Stevenson isn't a bum. Froch, Abregu, Garcia, Provodnikov, Pacquiao etc etc are not "BUMS"
It really drags down the quality of posting in here. I've seen other sites hand out suspensions in bannings for that type of nonsense.
I agree that the free use of these terms is wrong, and what is wrong with expressing that these terms are wrong? what about a thread like "calling boxers bums is the height of ignorance because_________.
If people ignore the trolls, like this one writing! we tend to go away. That is another solution as well. Banning is just an act of repression if it is because of something like thread making, content, or the use of a particular word. The administrators here are already asswipes on that account, why add to it?Comment

people calling champions, world class athletes bums are idiots. however that does not deserve a ban.
there are far worse ignorant and insensitive things that can be said, that DO result in bans. this site is decent at thatComment

Has nothing to do with forums. The term "coward" not as much, but for instance, Ali was labeled a coward and draft dodger during his day. As was Duran after the second Leonard bout, along with "quitter", so the word and similar terms have been prevalent throughout boxing's history.Comment

Quitter/Bums/Cans/cabbies really shouldn't be tolerated. Especially if the same poster keeps stinking up threads with it.Has nothing to do with forums. The term "coward" not as much, but for instance, Ali was labeled a coward and draft dodger during his day. As was Duran after the second Leonard bout, along with "quitter", so the word and similar terms have been prevalent throughout boxing's history.
Prevalent throughout boxing history
How many historians we got in here. The only ones I've ever chatted history with are in the history section and frankly that forum is dead.
