This thread is definitely a jole.

      Jole:

probably too late for it, but Chino is down:

***8220;All I say is they are looking for a fight for Canelo and I want Canelo. I told that to Oscar de la Hoya in person last night. I know some might say that he***8217;s too big for me and I say I like the challenge because Canelo likes to fight and so do I. Styles make fights and it would be a war. A war that I can win,***8221; Maidana added.
After attending Saturday’s night card at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Marcos Maidana wants the opportunity to fill the open spot by facing WBA 154-pound champ

at 152 u never know. Canelo didn't look great at the weigh-in for Floyd

canelo won't fight another catchweight and is a mismatch. but it wouldn't surprised me if gbp tries to make it in the future if canelo stays at 154 lbs, the guy loves to fight welters and super lightweights

not a fair fight. Nelo destroys maidana. He'll get beat up worse than angulo.

If Maidana goes all out, he could hurt Canelo.

wow. I didn't know about this. This changes my response and thought on the fight, I think Maidana stops him in 11.

At 152 he would end up looking like he did against Mayweather, just a drained / physically limited version of himself. Maidana breaks him down.

At 154 / 155, I would have to favor Canelo due to the fact that he is a more complete, all around fighter. He'd be physically capable to pull off whatever he wanted. I still believe it would be a competitive war though. Maidana's awkwardness would make Canelo think twice about opening up.
