Angulo makes a good point. Chavez humiliated and destroyed Martinez in that 12th round. Martinez was in way worse shape and taking harder flush shots than the one Angulo got.

Weeks knows he made the wrong decision even though he denies it.

I disagree. Canelo was landing way harder shots on Angulo then Martinez on Chavez. Chavez also got kind of lucky he landed nothing significant before that shot. It was the 12 round and Chavez was desperate.

Stoppage for what? Floyd throwing 1 to 2 punches at time while not sitting down on his punches for the entire fight.

Listen, I was rooting for Angulo but Canelo was hitting him at will. Angulo/Chavez both have really chins but Chavez was at least blocking some shots and had his gloves up. Angulo barely did either. You wanna see Angulo permanently hurt?? I seriously doubt Weeks is some way wanted to help out Canelo.

Angulo himself told Virgil Canelos punches were hurtin him early on in the fight. Honestly you can't get any clearer than that.

It's not worth taking all that punishment when your only hope is that your opponent tires and you land a lucky shot. Chavez had not taken a beating before the Martinez fight. Angulo was seriously not doing anything and he's already taken too much punishment in previous fights.

Angulo is tough as nails but I think Canelo proved his point

That last uppercut HURT Angulo so bad. Go back and look at him wince, and the way his jaw drops a but. He even makes a little noise. It wasn't gruesome, but if you pay close attention to detail he was severely stunned by that last punch. It was hard to watch him take that beating.

And Martinez wasn't nearly doing the type of damage to Chavez Jr. as Canelo was to Angulo. The poor guy is desperate for closure. Very sad situation here.

That's simple. Because you were getting pounced since the opening bell. Martinez won the first 11 rounds, yes he was hurt bad in the 12th but it wasn't like he was taking punishment the whole fight. He's become a bit of a whiner lately. With Lara it was the same thing. You got punched in the eye and you turn your back to your opponent and walk away to your corner. That's an automatic TKO.
