- Martinez-Chavez was the bigger fight with the lineal middleweight title + straps on the the line
- Comparatively Chavez in the Martinez fight had the better defense then Angulo did against Canelo
- Chavez wasn't getting his head snapped all over the place like Angulos
- His last name is Chavez, it'd be a national Mexican embarrassment if Julio got knocked out

Those are my reasons why Weeks didn't stop Martinez-Chavez
