Comments Thread For: Jean Pascal, Free Agent, Remains a Hot Commodity

Greg Leon, adviser to former light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs), had informed BoxingScene.com that he received numerous offers since Pascal became a promotional free agent.

Pascal, 31-years-old, had a long-standing promotional relationship with Yvon Michel of GYM. The contract ran out with Pascal's dominating decision win in January over Canadian rival Lucian Bute.

        Kovalev-Pascal or Stevenson-Pascal

        Both are good fights.

Pascal is buddies with Stevenson, doesn't sound keen on Kovalev but $$$ could change his mind.

I agree but I don't think Adonis and pascal will fight each other because their friends. It could happen but I'm doubtful..

The pascal-kovalev fight would be a good consolation prize for hbo since the Adonis- sergi fight fell thru..

Pascal would be a true test for kovolev, and is one of the few fighters at lhw that can handle kovolev's power

Stevenson wants B-Hop first and keeps Pascal for a later full house at the Bell Centre. (They may fool the public...)

Pascal doesn't fight Kovalev -- this would reduce him to business irrelevance...

Would be surprised if Showtime even makes a move.... what's the point? WHo would they match him with?

                  Dawson rematch?

Pascal would be a very good test for either of those light heavies (any 175 pounder outside of B-Hop really). Tough to see him moving on from GYM coming off a huge win like that in Montreal (where GYM appears to be running the show currently), where he was already a player.

It would be a nice consolation for HBO though if they can manage to make that play though.
