Just a name. He's not a top fighter. He's a basic brawler who doesn't know how to adjust mid-fight. Provodnokov is superior in almost every facet except for workrate and he's improved that of late.

If Rios, a 31-2 professional boxer with 23 KOs, is a bum, then what the f**k is your scrub ass? Your claim to fame is taking a picture with Adrien Broner, lmfao

im not saying he was elite just that he was a monster at 135

I don't think he does. Rios is a contender but for top-tier ? No I think not, as I've stated before. He's limited in his abilities to compete with top tier...ESPECIALLY at 147.

Depends on the weight. If he had somehow managed to squeeze down to 135 and stay there like he was able to earlier in his career I would say he is a top tier LW because of his stamina, power, size, chin, pressure etc.

All his top tier advantages fall by the way side when he moves up in weight.

He had a nice run there with wins over an undefeated Anthony Peterson, Murray, couple other solid fighters,,, never quite reached the top in the division but had more success in that division than at 140 or 147

Then he's a top tier fighter. He's no bum, he's not a punching bag, he's a brawler who comes forward and makes exciting fights.

He's tough to beat and while his career lasts, I will be watching.

Rios is not a top tier guy. He's a good gatekeeper.
