Porter, Guerrero and Pauli have also openly turned Thurman down.

So when people say 'Thurman is a hypejob, he hasn't fought anyone', they'd do well to remember that the big names aren't willing to fight Thurman, not vice-versa.
i never said he was/is a hype job, but i can understand why maidana's tema didn't want the fight back then.

I know you didn't, I was talking about people in general.

I can understand why Maidana turned the fight down at the time as well, which is why I'm not having a go at him. But he did turn it down, that was my point.

Thurman should get the winner of mayweather/maidana though we all know that wont happen.

They are all p*ssies. How many times did each of these guys claim someone was ducking them... Now here they are doing the same. "High risk, low reward"... Isn't Floyd accused of fighting "low risk high reward"? This generation of boxing is so damn lame. Yeah I believe Thurman will most likely beat anyone at 147 that isn't named Mayweather or Pacquiao but we will probably never know because these guys that have a belt or a name are only looking for fights that are jackpots(Mayweather) or they are looking for the fight that will give them the most money without a big enough risk.

Say what? He clearly says he agreed to fight him, but then they changed their minds because Thurman has too many KOs and they want an easier opponent

Thurman vs. Lara. Let's get it done.
If he is a WW why should he move up?

And what this fight does for Lara?
