Agreed. I think Thurman would have problems against boxers at 154. Lara, Andrade and the Charlos would give him a hard time (not sure if they'd beat him or not). He'd batter Canelo though.

At 147, I don't think anyone other than Pac and Floyd stand a chance against him.

Unless they elevate Floyd to "Super Champion" and give Thurman a shot at the "Regular" WBA title.
He can still fight some big names, it doesn't have to be for a world title (yet).

They're not ducking him. They just feel he doesn't deserve the hype.

The hype is not commensurate to the level of fights he took. Take the case of Lopez, for instance. He fought Vargas, Ortiz, Alvarez, Maidana. Of course, he lost some of these fights. Would his record have been different if he had the types of opponents Thurman had?

Alexander would fight him. There is no doubt in my mind.

But I don't think it makes sense with him coming off of a loss. They can do Thurman/Collazo (if he beats Khan) and Alexander/Judah on the same card as a WBA eliminator or something like that.

Do you not understand the concept of being ducked? He can only fight people who are willing to fight him...

That's what I'm saying. Why would you want to fight a guy as big a puncher as Thurman with very little money?? Let's face it nobody knows Thurman outside of hardcore boxing fans.

Same thing with GGG or any other scary fighter coming up. All guys like GGG and Thurman have to do is keep winning and fight anybody they can. That's it.

Porter made the right decision. That was bull****. Trying to match up all of the contenders to protect guys like Amir Khan.

Porter now should get a decent payday against Paulie and an even bigger one against Kell Brook.

GBP aren't gonna offer Thurman a Khan fight. Thurman would have Amir kipping within 6...

Khan is getting ready for a Mayweather fight, he can't afford to take a loss atm.
