I'm really starting to see the double racist standard on this site..after a while of being here you familiarize yourself with some names and what they tend to post and the tone of their posting around specific boxers. As a man of color myself i'm starting to see my fellow brothers fighting tooth and nail to validate fellow black professional boxers. It's becoming downright obvious and disgusting. I'm pretty sure if Kovalev had bounced to Showtime a ton of mofo's on this site would be using that as proof Kovalev is shook but since it's the other way around now Kovalev is a bum. Same goes for ward not getting the GGG fight but being unwilling to move up 7 pounds. Look honestly it's time to stop the race flag waving..boxing is a sport where two colors matter..Green and Red. If you are in here crowing about every black boxer and on your pulpit in defense of them make sure its a valid reason. This is almost as embarrassing as the chump mofo's who can't even man up to say Bradley lost the first fight with Pacquaio. They may give the "I watched it on mute" and the ever noob bullshhh of "I watched it in slow mo". Fact remains many black boxers agree with Duva, many black boxers including all of TMT felt Bradley lost the fight. It's time to put your own insecure issues about your race and start manning the hell up because this site is rapidly turning into the same POS that every other boxing site has slowly become. A great divide of race with 95% of mofo's speaking pure unadulterated bulllshhh with no other intention than defending their race. Kovalev has wanted adonis...haven't heard adonis once stay straight up I want to fight him. These cold wars are ruining boxing and more often then not switching promoters and switching networks is a way out of fights. The real issue isn't with Adonis or Kovalev. If Golden Boy/Top Rank and HBO/Showtime and any other companies a put everything aside for the sport this wouldn't be an issue.

Most of the brothers on here are Black Americans. Stevenson is from Haiti and moved to Canada. Why they defend him just because he looks like a Black American is beyond me. I don't like networks forcing fighters to lock themselves into multifight contracts. These multifight contracts are a big part of network wars and subsequently why certain fights never get made or even get to the negotiation table.

In fairness to Kovalev, I do believe that Adonis is afraid to fight Kovalev. Cannot blame him to jump to showtime to make more money. He knew that once Kovalev KO him his stock will plummet. Bad for boxing! Another one!

Can't Stevenson still fight him on HBO regardless of the contract situation? Kov was planning to fight in a few weeks in Russia and it wasn't going to be televised by HBO. Or let both networks pick it up. Fights shouldn't go unmade because of different networks.

Stevenson does not have a contract with Showtime. Therefore, he can fight Kovalev on HBO if he wants to. The problem is it doesn't look like he wants the fight. He prefers to fight opponents that he is convinced that he can beat and Kovalev is not on that list. I hope whoever he fights in the fall (Hopkins or Shumenov) beats him so he can disappear and we don't have to hear about him again.

First of all you are a die hard Pac fan who has defended him since day one. You are trying to say black posters on here are racists? I have read this site for a while signed up in early February and just like other boxing sites, YouTube, Twitter etc... people hate on black fighters to the max.
