I don't give a f.uck about an agreement. HBO is willing to pay certain fighters to fight cans and not so much for others. Boxing is a business. If HBO wanted Stevenson-Kovalev so bad, take the L in the wallet for Stevenson's tune-up. They didn't, and now Stevenson has found someone who will. Meanwhile, Stevenson will likely be fighting Hopkins and/or Pascal, on Showtime, for more money than Kovalev will for fighting in Russia off TV. Smart business move from where I'm sitting.Comment

Mayfield didn't have near the amateur career as GGG. And I doubt very seriously that he's ben a pro for nearly a decade like GGG.Comment

You guys still haven't understood that boxing is a business. Adonis is getting old and he wants to get paid. He can't be waiting around while he ages to get some cheap payday. Showtime offered him more and he gave HBO a chance to match. Obviously they don't give a **** about the fight since they had control to match and make the fight happen. It would do major numbers.
How you assume Stevenson is running from Kovalev because he wants more money is beyond me. Im not sure of Stevenson really wants to fight him since he hasn't said much about him until now. But I did hear him say if the money is right he'll fight him. I don't think he's afraid of Kovalev at all. Kovalev never really has been tested. And Stevenson isn't a punching bag. In fact he's shown ridiculous improvements in his defense if you watched his last few fights. He boxed great and was rarely hit. I'd say Kovalev would be in for a long night.
Stop with this ****. Kovalev has been calling him out since last AugustComment

Fans are the losers.
Telling that you worry more about the wallet of a fighter that you will never meet, than getting to see the best possible matchups.
To each his own I guess.Comment
