That's fine he wants Hopkins, but he should have taken care of Kovalev first before bolting to another network. It's been in the works, and for more money than Fonfara and another belt. Instead he comes asking for way more money for Fonfara without a guarantee for Kovalev.

Its not an opinion, it's a fact that they proclaimed they would fight anyone from 154 to 168. They weren't interested in a fight with Ward saying they wanted to clean out 160. Then they are negotiating a fight with JCC. Those are facts.

Your statement that GGG isn't ducking Ward because he hasn't fought at 168 and doesn't deserve a fight at 168 makes no sense at all . It's pure opinion. GGG will get at least a 50/50 split of the purse for fighting Chavez, maybe better. It would also probably be a bigger purse than GGG/Ward, because so many Mexican fans would want to see that fight.
If he fought Ward now, GGG would not get 50% of the purse because Ward is a linear champ, and he isn't.
This is why GGG wanted to "clean out" 160 before fighting Ward. Because if he did so, he would be linear middleweight champ and entitled to demand an equal share of the money.
