After that, I have to say I think Kovalev loses...

Stevenson would hit him with that big left, it would be very interesting in the first 2-3 rounds, after that I expect Kovalev to break him down.

I think B-Hop could get outworked, I'm still 50-50 on that fight.

          is that you, stephen espinoza?
The reason I say this is because Kovalev unloaded on Agnew, and Agnew would come back with a couple of shots & land... now, imagine Stevenson doing that. Agnew never had anything for Kovalev, but Stevenson has speed & power.

As for Hopkins, it would just be another horrific 12 round bore-fest of holding & spoiling. Maybe Kovalev could drop him or stagger him, but Hopkins probably wins an awful, awful fight.

I am not saying Kovalev is a joke. I take him seriously, as should everyone else, especially those entering the ring with him... however, speed & power. Stevenson has them (especially the speed). I can see speed being THE difference in this fight, if they do ever fight. Nothing else. Not power, not toughness... just plain speed. Stevenson has that and Kovalev really doesn't.

That's when I think Stevenson would be at his most dangerous. Kovalev doesn't look particularly good in the 1st round. I can see Stevenson wanting to get it over quickly.

Also, Stevenson WOULD be scared fighting Kovalev. Agnew was scared & went into his shell. Kovalev would come in to throw a few, then boom, I can see Stevenson catching Kovalev hard, and I just don't see him (or anyone at 175 for that matter) taking one of those big lefts.

You're forgetting Agnew's tight guard, Stevenson doesn't have that. It's ironic he's criticising SK's defense because his own defense is sloppy. That's part of the reason why it was such a potentially great fight (that Haymon ruined).

And what I don't understand is why it took so long for him to go to the body. When you have that kind of insane power, NO ONE is going to be able to take power punches. He could've ended that fight much earlier, but he head-hunted too much. And speaking of heads, he doesn't move him. Not the slightest. Stevenson would land big on him. I'm struggling to see how Kovalev wins.

Yes but if I was Stevenson, I'd use that as one of my early tactics - go into a shell, let Kovalev come in, then crack him.
