you can't take much from this fight, when you have a guy throwing 5-6 punches a round, he becomes very unpredictable and hard to time because he's just covering up the entire time, he isn't giving you any sort of rhythm because he isn't trying to win rounds, he's just trying to get into the late rounds and land a lucky shot, hoping you've gassed out by then

this is why clottey was able to land on pacquiao, yet he lost every round, he covered up 90% of every round and then snuck a shot in that pacquiao didn't expect

plus, there was very little tape of agnew to go by, assuming kovalev's team looks at tape of their opponents

Yep I think Stevenson is a bad matchup for both Kovalev and Hopkins.

Hopkins looses twice to the southpaw Dawson and Kovalev while dominating does get hit more against southpaws....and thats not a good thing when fighting someone with huge power like Adonis.

Stevenson beats them both, but I think Kovalev would beat Bernard.

I was mimicking Kovalev calling Stevenson a piece of ****, bro.

Anyway, it's a pick'em fight. Both of these guys have dynamite in their hands. To bad the fights not gonna happen now because Stevenson doesn't want to fight the best.

Funny how a guy can win nearly every round, get 3 kds and a 7th round stoppage over an undefeated fighter,, and it be a bad performance.....

If stevenson and his handlers thought they could beat kovalev, they would have made the fight,,,,

agnew was doing so well that haymon was ready to sign him, stop the fight, and demand more money, but then agnew got caught.

Also, Stevenson WOULD be scared fighting Kovalev. Agnew was scared & went into his shell. Kovalev would come in to throw a few, then boom, I can see Stevenson catching Kovalev hard, and I just don't see him (or anyone at 175 for that matter) taking one of those big lefts.
Yeah Kovalev uses the first round to study his opponent, and then from the 2nd round on he starts letting his hands go. I can definitely see Kovalev getting caught by a massive left very early in the fight. Jackson is an intelligent trainer so he knows you can't come in the ring cold against Stevenson, he'd have Kovalev properly warmed up and relaxed before the fight.

B-Hop is like 9-2 against southpaws, what the hell you talkin about?
