Adonis allowed him to do it.

Adonis' manager told Adonis that the Kovalev deal was the BEST he would get. Adonis STILL wouldn't accept the deal.

Adonis then goes and gets Haymon who asks for a 40% increase than what HBO originally offered, but still wouldn't guarantee that they would fight Kovalev even if HBO accepted. But Haymon said he would only negotiate a Fonfara fight for less money.... WTF?!?!

Again, Adonis allowed him to do all of this despite what his long time manager was telling him. Even Stevenson's manager said the Kovalev deal was THE BEST AVAILABLE DEAL

      This is crazy to me

This whole thing is going to come crumbling down and showtime will be on the losing end because in the end all that matters is who has the viewers. Showtime will always be second rate and 1 way or another the big fights will end up back on HBO.

I'm honestly rooting for fonfara to pull a Boone and ko Adonis....

No doubt that everyone involved wanted Adonis-sergi,, they have been building towards it for a year now,,, the only one that didn't want it is Adonis,,, and haymon swooped in and gave him the exit

This is about it - as revealed by Michel, Haymon may only be an 'advisor' under law, but in essence if the fighter does what Haymon 'advises' he is their de facto manager - problem for Michel is that as Stevensons manager under law, he's the one that'll take the flak if it goes to court - in essence he'll either have to put up with not being in control of his fighter or get shot of him. I'm guessing YM ain't the only manager in a similar position - these guys ought to get together and figure out a way around this - Haymon is certainly braking the spirit, if not the letter of the law. As it stands Haymon is able to make or break careers and million $ deals that can make or break careers yet can't be held accountable for it.

Things like this is why it's hard to be a boxing fan. It's a shame things are like this. Rarely ever get the fights fans want to see the most anymore.

Not shocking Haymon made it his business to take away huge fight from HBO with his ties to Showtime I guess for the fans they should HBO outdo them with a huge fight.

This guy is the Flowmos hero too, they let his crooked in house approach slide but slam Arum only because whoever is on Floyds side is on their side too.
