Manny and Floyd do not deserve the defending they get in terms of not making the fight happen.

They both are great fighters and deserve praise for that.

In regards to the fight not happening, they deserve nothing but criticism.

People are too caught in their worshipping to see this. Rooting for a team is not comparable to the lengths people go to defend these two divas in their refusal to fight each other.

Agreed, but I give Filipino fans of Manny a little bit of a break. The guy is a genuine national hero. For Filipinos, I imagine, Manny's symbolic importance is greater than boxing.

Its not really about defending Manny or Floyd, its more of people say such dumb things without using common sense. I've come to realize its usually a little kid...14 years old to around 23 with these dumb remarks. ... bottom line is Manny don't look as strong as he did when mayweather started talking about peds. ... Manny deff would of gave Floyd problems 6 years ago with speed and combos. But no one really knows why the fight wasn't made. By using common sense you can say both are at fault. Manny turned down testing. ....Manny turned down 60/40 .... and Floyd just wants to be the boss and call the shots. Floyd is still on top and Manny isn't . Those are facts.

Manny has stated numerous times he wants the fight. Floyd has never said it. Instead he talks about the fighters record, the amount of money he needs to make and management issues. He never says "I want to fight Manny".

Wrong. He offered a compromise on a standard nobody was doing. Floyd walked when he didnt get his way.
