It was one of his best, most exciting performances ever

Hatton's footwork overwhelmed Floyd. Floyd timed him with big right hands coming in. It was a sloppy fight. It wasnt a sharp counterpunching affair. Like against JMM, Mosley, Canelo. Yea he did his thang because Floyd always dominates any opponent he faces. But as I pointed out earlier, at the time he said he didnt even love boxing anymore and he fought like it. He was slow af against Hatton.

Yea thats the reason he was humiliated" If SRL made him come up in weight, he would have humiliated JMM? Or nah? LOL
you fail to consider the right sequence of things,.....

the pulling of jmm 2 classes up and scale cheating came first BEFORE whatever floyd did to jmm that you praise to high heavens happened......

so in your eyes the end justifies the means? idolatry knows no bounds....

Floyd was on point vs Hatton... Hatton came to fight, but Floyd tagged that dude all night, and landed one of the best counters I have seen to send Ricky into the corner head first...
          I don't know what fight u watching

No he could'nt but at least they ha the balls to fight each other unlike Floyd who decides to retire rather than face the biggest challenges of his career at that time.

            • Floyd is sharp and some what still prime because he has taken two long vacations and went 2-3 years only fighting once a year. So yes you are right he is prime and sharp and top of the game.
But while washing his balls and cleaning your throat with his co kc you fail to see that it's because of his blatant ducking and perfectly timed vacations that he has been able to extend his career.
And someone that has done it better and some one Floyd can't touch is BHop. Let's see Floyd take on a prime champion at 46 or 47 like bhop did.

As far as him retiring to let a bunch of easy fighters beat eachother, thats pure speculation. He said he didnt even love boxing anymore, and as you pointed out he had a tough fight with a faded Oscar and Hatton's footwork even gave him problems. True or false, floyd spent his whole career chasing Oscar and talking about how he would retire at 30? True or false he looked horrible in his last two fights against Oscar and Hatton? True or False the Floyd who came back rejuvinated against JMM would humiliate the Floyd who faced Oscar in which we both agree looked horrible? True or False the Floyd who faced Canelo would BRUTALIZE the Floyd who faced Oscar?

Back to my original point. What fighters in history can drag JMM up in weight, fight a 'faded' Mosley and the rest of the fighters you call 'Bums' who were the absolute best at the time he fought them, and dominate them all without being grazed? What fighter in history can change his style completely in order to dominate these guys without being hissed by one single punch?

None. No fighter in history is this sharp. No fighter in history was aging backwards and in his prime at 37. I have seen allot of boxing, but I have never seen anything like this before in my life. Ethic as well as skills. I understand you dont want to admit that because you hate him. But unlike you I am not biased for or against him. I just love boxing and I have never seen anything like it.
i noticed majority of your post have a "could have" "would have" feel into them. "no boxer in history could have beaten jmm or ortiz as floyd did" "floyd could have beaten srl or duran" " no one in history could have dominate fighters without being grazed as floyd did". seriously you are just a "could have, would have" poster.
you just couldnt make so many assumptions and claims to be unbiased.

                • I have already agreed with you that i cant think of another fighter who could of done what Floyd has, in terms of moving up through so many weights and hardly getting hit or losing a round.
But study Robinsons record. He fought from LW to LHW. There is no comparison between Floyd and Robinson.

A lot of what you say is silly. You cant dismiss him not fighting Pac, the only ATG he had the chance to face, and still say Floyd is better than any other fighter including Leonard who fought several ATG's and beat them all.

Its not just about winning, its about who you fought.

You saying Floyd would walk through Leonard and Hearsn is downright ******ed. Did he walk through Cotto? Castillo? Are they both way better than SRL and Hearns? Canelo is bigger and stronger than both is he? Hearsn went on to become a ****ing Cruiser weight.

                  • While I'm not crazy about the Madaina fight, Money has a great resume. The only guy not on it is Pacman; but eveyone else is somewhere on that list.

Yeah he has some decent names and I wouldn't call it great it's far from great. It not about who is on but also when did he fight them.
