      It's kinda sad really.
If GGG should be criticized for cherry picking/doing the same thing Floyd does then that means Floyd is guilty as well.

So in essence the fanboys that are criticizing GGG are also pointing the finger at Floyd.

This is why no one likes groupies

So GGG should be held to a higher standard than Floyd?
Floyd jumped up to lightweight and took on Jose Luis Castillo in his first fight at the weight, the #1 ranked lightweight at the time.

        • There's a higher chance he'll beat Chavez & make more money. There's a higher chance he'll lose to Ward & make less money....that's why.

He fought Augustus at 135 before Castillo, moved back down and then moved back up to fight Castillo.

Actually it would be nice if Floyd would just fight the best at 147. The other difference is he's holding a belt hostage at 154.

              • lol thread will have some merit if ward was able to even contractually fight but he cant. Ward probably will be tie up all year in legal issues and not fight you think GGG or Chavez or HBO will wait around for him. NO.

                Theirs your answer.

I was mistaken. Wikipedia has betrayed me.

                  • Thread fail... What Golovkin is doing is actually a step towards a Ward showdown, not away from it.
Beating JCCJr will give him the option to fight Ward at 168 or Sergio at 160, which are both a career defining fights.
