Great inside fighters,why are they so rare now?

    Come forward fighters are very rarely good inside fighters. Toney is probably the best of all time. Watch Toney vs Barkley that is a masterpiece of infighting. Brandon Rios can NOT fight on the inside. Abril proved that by standing in front of him and basically laughing at him.

      Abril didn't stand in front of Rios. He clinched throughout the fight. That's basically his defense to inside fighting. I don't know how you could appreciate one and ignore the other.

      If that is what boxing is all about, then fighters just need to be trained how to clinch and run.
