I have HBO Starz and Cinemax

Minus the ****sexuality, HBO is the best programming on television.

Game of thrones, Boardwalk, True Detective, HBO Sports come on now.

So you must despise HBO with the China dude, guy who fought Salido, and GGG. Those 3 guys get more love than arguably the best boxer on the planet (Rigondeaux). Dont see how they are gettinng a free ride on Shotime when they have only have 3 TMT fight cards. Not sure if you want to switch to MMA but in boxing, prospects are usually pitted against guys they can beat so they can steadily improve.

i always look at the upcoming boxing schedule. when i found out showtime has almost nothing on the first quarter of 2014, i dropped it after the conclusion of homeland's season 3.

HBO had the FOTY 2013. They do have their share of mismatches but atleast they're good enough to do what you're supposed to do in mismatches, end them quick in KO fashion.

No I won't cancel HBO. I've noticed over the last couple of years that they're more focused on their shows and programming. Which is fine. Every now and then we still get a great night of boxing. Let's not forget they ended last year with a crazy run of boxing.

Sho right now puts on better fights but even this year their main fights are looking flabby.

However, HBO doesn't appear as committed as they have since, well, they got into the boxing game. Their budget has continually dropped since the early 2000's and this year alone they have lost fights because they were unwilling to pay for in Froch vs Groves, Areolla vs Stiverne, Stevenson vs Fonfara, and that likely makes Stevenson a Showtime fighter for good.

At some point you have to ask yourself, is the $10,$15, $20, sometimes $25 you have to pay for an HBO subscription (dependent on discounts, cable providers, etc) worth it to see 1 fight a month. and a possibly continually dwindling boxing selection.

So out of interest, I ask you if you would potentially drop HBO at some point if their boxing schedule and roster continues to dwindle?

***Let's not take into account the great shows on HBO, I want this to b how you feel about their boxing lineup.

Both. There have been good and bad match ups on both.

I dont see too many rising fighters or prospects with quick KO's, but carry on........

GGG and Kovalev are always knocking out their overmatched opponents. You just mentioned one of those guys by name in your previous post, but please, do carry on. Watch your Shobox and be happy there's a place for gross mismatches where fighters can't finish fights.
