Solis is clearly -- clearly -- one of those dudes who's content to rely on his talent to get him over. He obviously overestimated just how far that talent would take him. It would take that talent and a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears to carry Solis to the top. He doesn't have the heart nor the stomach for it. We can finally put a fork in this kid....

People been telling Solis to lose weight and get serious for years, this is a wake up call. Got outworked by a 40 year old.

                Another wasted talent.

Solis had setback as he entered Thompson fight: his dressing room contained no sauce to put on his pie and chips.

Enough with the excuses, the guy is just not as good as people expected him to be. And by good I mean talent + dedication.

From what I heard from a couple of guys in the mix is that Diaz was not happy with Solis shape and did not want him to fight like that, Oner had promoted the fight already and wanted it to go on; regardless all the blame is on the fat boy for showing no interest in getting in shape.
