Khan is an exciting fighter. I've enjoyed almost all of his fights. But exciting and elite are 2 different things. You watch Khan fight to see him razzle and dazzle inferior opponents for about 4 rounds only to have the fight get competitive the remainder of the way. Or to watch him get sparked by a fighter of similar size who catches him flush in an exchange. That's some exciting $h!t. But hardly worthy of a Floyd fight. Which is why he'll probably get the shot eventually.

Ortiz is a part time boxer btw.
that ortiz that maidana fought would have KO'd khan inside 4 rounds easy.

All Khan has to do is have some impressive victories.

The winner of the Porter-Pauli-Brook mix would be good (As long as it's not Pauli), Guererrro would be good, Broner would be good, Thurman would be good. Any of those guys.
Broner's style turned out to be very favourable. I actually thought Broner had the ability to move but he was just fighting flatfooted because he was facing the likes of Gavin Rees and Malignaggi.

I don't think so I just think Maidana made it favourable.

I just dont see khan having a 3 fight win streak,,, He is damaged goods.

In a perfect world he would go on a nice winning streak and fight floyd in 2015, but i just cant see him going thru any combination of porter, devon, brook, thurman, etc

Yes and Maidana gets outboxed by a chinny Khan, Kotelnik (Khan humiliated him) and Devon Alexander and the excuse we come up with is "oh there was no robert garcia doe". Not you, but his fans.

Difference is Maidana gets outboxed. Khan has NEVER been outboxed. Ever. Maidana has been 3 times and with Devon that was embarrassing.

You can argue Kotelnik-Maidana, but being a contender on foreign soil he should have done more.

Now those guys are average boxers skill wise compared to Mayweather, but oh well have fun guys.

Khan is amazing pure boxer. He has the footwork of fred astaire, the balance of philip petite, the combinations of juan marquez, the defense of mayweather, and the intelligence of ray leonard.

He also has iron chin and throws his accurate combinations with leverage. He doesn't throw any sloppy flurrys at all.
