This is the biggest Maidana will ever be. After this he will be just another brawler with a big punch. Where as Khan by not doing anything will still be a bigger name than Chino.

After this there will a loss and no belt. Done.

Yeah he CAN (not saying he does) make a few adjustments like tuck his chin and get out of the pocket a bit faster) and that will nullify your counter attack.

Point being, he has the tools. More so than a lot of other guys.

trust me all the real khan fans don't want him to rush, he is only 27 , me personally he shouldn't even fight floyd right now. he should wait till floyd gets a little slower plus khan has too many flaws as of right now for floyd to exploit. Hope he fights garcia tho.

I don't think so. If Maidana is anything to go by, all Khan has to do is fight a bunch of favourable opponents and he'll have "earned" the fight.

I remember when Maidana was crying like a little b1tch that he might retire after Devon Alexander kicked his ass and most of his fans were saying he wasn't suited to welterweight.

maybe in england, in general khan will be remembered as the guy with the cristal chin and the big mouth, chino will be remembered for his fight with ortiz and broner more than anything else, for being the underdog that pulled the upset.

I have actually come to embrace this as a positive element because Khan is a "chinny over achiever". Im happy if people remember him as a glass jawed fighter because how many dudes have gotten this far with his chin? David Price is an example.

Amir Khan has not done **** in all fairness in a while, but you see how he is so talked about regardless. If Chino had his run add the fact he spoke English i doubt people would care.

wlad has a better career than khan with a crappy chin as well and he is a heavyweight. khan is being talked because the guy is a troll, he keep talking nonsense and makes people react, just like floyd, but with less talent.

Yes and that is a compliment to Wlad because Heavyweight has no pillow punchers, but of course people dont give props to him for the chin part. So the point is its rare.

Not taking away from Wlad, but heavyweight is not exactly murderer's row either.

I do agree his whining has gotten to me as well and he needs a public relations person.

Compare their career's resume Maidana has always lost when he has stepped up. If you consider broner his biggest win then that a pretty ****ty resume. Khan former unified champ at 140... alexander a pillow fisted fighter made him think retirement which is pretty sad. The top names that Khan has beat Maidana will certainly lose to them all. Ortiz is a part time boxer btw.

I can understand Karass and Lopez (Although many were split on that fight) but Broner definitely wans't considered a "favourable" fight for Maidana.

All Khan has to do is have some impressive victories.

The winner of the Porter-Pauli-Brook mix would be good (As long as it's not Pauli), Guererrro would be good, Broner would be good, Thurman would be good. Any of those guys.
