ƒuck yah id be happy. Not because of a potential Mayweather vs Pacman clash, but because of the possibility of Pacman vs a **** load of names at WW that he cannot fight due to the flop war.

Floyd could fight Joe Schmo tomorrow, and it would do no less than 800k PPV buys. What are you talking about? You really think he's gonna do Canelo #s every time out?

      Floyd's guaruntee is his guaruntee.

If he can fight Guerrero, than he can fight Porter.

Sure Floyd gets his guarantee but I also want Showtime to be successful in the process. I want to see good money being spent on good match ups. And the chances of that happening are greater if Showtime makes money.

Have you ever head Mayweather utter the names Thurman or Matthysse? He's with Haymon and those fights have never been brought up. There's a reason for that. Low reward and high risk. What makes you think Pacquiao would fight them even if he was with Haymon/GB?

Stephen Espinoza, the general manager of Showtime Sports, is fully backing the statements made on Thursday by Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer - by confirmed that Showtime's Floyd Mayweather vs. Robert Guerrero pay-per-view event will exceed a million buys. Last Saturday night, Mayweather won a twelve round decision over Guerrero at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Earlier this year, Mayweather signed an exclusive six-fight contract with Showtime, and the fight with Guerrero was his first pay-per-view event not carried by network rival HBO. By Tuesday, there were widespread industry rumors that Mayweather-Guerrero was a pay-per-view failure and the buyrate was going fall between 800 to 900,000 buys. As Schaefer indicated to BoxingScne.com on Thursday, there is no possible way that anybody could have predicted the pay-per-view numbers by Tuesday, because most of the preliminary figures are not received until Thursday and Friday of post-fight week.

I'm sorry, but I want to see the #1 draw in boxing fight the toughest challengers. We only get legit EVENTS twice a year.

Save all that, "I want to see good money being spent on good match ups."

There's enough money to go around.

Anyways, I'm out. I'll reply back tomorrow or something.

Matthysse would have been in the running had he not lost to Danny Garcia. Just like Garcia got a lot of mentions as a possible Floyd opponent after that fight.

Thurman really only broke onto the scene in the last year but at the pace he's going he could be an option for Floyd by May 5 of next year.

Either way, there are plenty of attractive matchups in that list for Pacquiao which is the main point. Don't tell me that you would rather see him remain on the recycled fights merry-go-round instead?

I voted yes. I am a big Pacquiao fan and I have yet to hear one fighter say they were not happy with Haymon so he must do a good job of helping the fighters he works for.
