lol idk about talent but he can fight inside real well, has big pop a great chin and will be a lot bigger then GGG on fight night. GGG isn't exactly a big mover, i give chavez JR a chance based on his size alone. I don't see GGG weighing in near 168. He'll do what pac did when he fought margs, come in a couple lbs over his normalweight like 163 ish.Comment

Golovkin will mess this poor fool up. Believe it. It will be ugly, and the only reason Chavez might go 12 is because of his size.Comment

I think a lot of fans will end up thinking this and it is expectations like these that will make GGG look bad if he underperforms(but wins). The average prediction for both Stevens and Adama was 3 rounds or less because that was the tone GGG set with the Ishida and Macklin TKO's. 168 is a whole different weight class and Chavez Jr is a whole different size than these guys at 160. This fight won't be easy for GGG by any means and expectations like yours is what will make GGG seem like he got exposed by a big, limited fighter.Comment

The Golovkin option really is the best for Chavez Jr. next.
Because the other options available are Bika and Ward -- they are both long time tip top super middleweights.
GGG is smaller and he never fought at 168 while a pro fighter.
On another hand, Jr. is the better option to date for GGG as well -- Jr. doesn't have the experience and skills that Ward has in this division...Comment

I would not be surprised if it will be PPV. Arum will want to compete with Chavez Jr with Canelo, and JCC vs GGG is a better fight than Canelo-Angulo, so Arum will have some bragging rights if JCC-GGG actually outsells Canelo-Angulo, which on paper it should. GGG is considered a huge draw by his fans, and JCC sold 500k vs Martinez.Comment
