laras all wrong for canelo imo I wouldnt say he is afraid to face him just that another loss so soon will be too much of a set back he is going to be matched carefully for the next few fights by GB

in some way you have to respect his last 3 fights trout (who was at the time after cotto seen as an akward fight) floyd who was too soon and too good for him then angulo who didnt look too bad vs lara

i do and did give him props for the angulo fight but he didnt beat trout and got his azz kicked by frauds only the paisa's are die hard ginger fans and the gays who have a crush on him

Well this didn't happen.

Anyway, Lara's style matches up poorly for Canelo plus it wouldn't make for an entertaining PPV fight. I.e. he would probably lose and it would be boring.
