Lucas and ggg both created huge buzz by fighting and dominating lesser opponents, same blueprint should be used for Thurman..
Lucas was fighting some beasts, and he knocked out a stud in Peterson.

And that's not their blue print for GGG. It's called ducking.

If it was up to GGG, he'd have fought Geale and Martinez by now.

Also, you seem to not understand what I'm getting at. Why is Khan a predetermined fight for Floyd??? Why does he get a "soft touch" on his under card???

Why does Thurman have to go through all the guys you're talking about, but Khan, who hasn't even fought at the full WW limit get fast tracked to Floyd?

That's why I'm suggesting Thurman fight Khan for Floyd. It covers every basis. Thurman beats the cash cow, and gets the Maidana/Broner love. Khan wins, Floyd/Khan is EPIC.

If Maidana "earned" it with Lopez and Broner, then Zaveck, Chaves, Karass, and Khan should be enough for Thurman.

Also consider, Thurman is an actual WW. Maidana's not even a WW in my book. He's just a really strong guy that likes to eat.

I also think hes the best WW at GBP but i wanna see him show it before throwing him in with Floyd. The eye test can only show so much
But Maidana beat up a career 140 lb. fighter in Lopez, almost got stopped, and beat up a career 135 lb. fighter in Broner, and that's enough for Floyd.

Meanwhile, Thurman has to beat the Paulie/Porter winner, and the Ghost in order to prove himself!?!?

Do you even listen to yourself?

Thurman's already done the equivalent of what Maidana's done. All he needs is his bogus little "big name" fight with Khan, and he should be more than "proven" enough to get a Floyd fight.

OK, Chaves would end Lopez's life. Zaveck is a ****er that would rearrange Broner's skull. He almost finished off Berto if it wasn't for the cut.

They both beat Karass, except Thurman KOd his ass, with only 1 scare. The fight wasn't even competetive after a single punch that Karass landed. Meanwhile, it was an even fight til the 6th round for Maidana.

Thurman also routed Quintana at 154.

Meanwhile, Devon completely embarrassed Maidana, and he's fighting the guy that's Devon on steroids. Literally and figuratively.

And no, no one changes their stripes after changing trainers. Cut that BS out. He just fought some guys that wanted to **** with him, and another guy that hyped up to the moon, and ended up having no idea how to box, i.e. Broner.

Triangle theories dont work on me. So all that first part is just you assuming it would happen but didnt actually happen. Maidana has been in the ring with some big names and in some big championship fights. Thurman has none of either.

Ok im going home. We both think hes very talented but differ on readiness.

Maybe we will continue after i feed my baby and say hello to the wife

"Big names" I want to elaborate, but I don't wanna keep going in circles with you.

              Agree to disagree.

Because khan brings the buzz and money,,, Thurman doesn't have a big enough profile yet to command the attention that khan gets

I like thurman, but he's at least 2 years from being ready for floyd. They've matched him well, and I hope he continues to improve and progress.

That's why I said they should fight each other. Khan earns his title shot, and Thurman gets the recognition.
