Do you expect Floyd Mayweather to give us a crowd pleasing fight on May 3?

Do you expect him to settle down more with combination punching by trading with Marcos Maidana or just simply outpointing him with movement, clinching and landing single counters and punches at a time? So I am just curious to know what do you all think? Will he fight or just box to an easy 12 round victory?
When the crowd slowly starts to make it's way out of the arena during a Floyd fight, it's an indication they lost a bet against Floyd.
So it doesn't turn out to be a "fan appreciation fight" in that sense.
The question ought to be: "Will Maidana be able to do what no other Floyd opponent could do: Neutralize Floyd's defense and counter his attacks, making Floyd earn his money in that ring?"
I think Maidana will be game and will show up to prove he can dethrone the champ even if he has to make it dirty to do it.

So yes, I know how he typically boxes but boxing fans would like to see him in more fan friendly fights from time to time and not just pot shotting, moving and clinching his way to easy 12 round boring decisions. They would rather see him in good fights than just a typical technical boxing match.
However, of the above mentioned fighters; For the exception of Ortiz, they were all limited. Neither was capable of cutting the ring off against Mayweather or either pressuring him for that matter.
One's best chance of defeating Floyd is to either smother him on the inside with volume punches and getting your punches off first; Given his low work rate. Guerrero had very slow feet to cut the ring off against Floyd and Canelo isn't a volume puncher or a pressure fighter due to his poor stamina. So he didn't even attempt to press Floyd in that way.
Now as far as Mosley is concerned, well what was there left to say about that performance other than he was too old and winded after stunning Mayweather in that second round? Now Ortiz on the other hand had the potential and ability to consistently pressure Floyd and beat him to the punch with a higher volume but he lacked the mental toughness in order to implement it.
Lastly, fighters who've enjoyed the most success against Mayweather in the past were those who were successful in pressuring and cutting the ring off against him e.g. Castillo and Hatton or one with volume punching by beating him to the punch e.g. Oscar De La Hoya.
Why would you as a fighter, do something ****** and end up like Bradley against Provo (concussed) or Pacquiao against Marquez(unconscious) if you have skills to win easily?

You are disrespecting Marquez, Mosley, Canelo, Cotto, Ortiz and Guerrero.
All of those just because your hate for 1 man.Last edited by MGMGRAND; 03-20-2014, 10:29 AM.

As a P4P king, and especially when your a ESTABLISHED P4P king. It's your job to take the hardest and ruffest fights.
Mayweather nor Pacquiao should be fighting the Rios, and Maidanas of the world, but if you do you better atlest give the crowd a good fight.
Floyd needs to out punch Maidana that night, would anyone expect Mayweather to stand toe to toe with someone like Sergio Martinez or Glovokin or even Pacquiao? No, but he should stand toe to toe with Maidana and the Guerrero's of the world Yes.
Sorry, if you fight lesser class opponents, you have to atlest give us a good show.
