I have a question for boxing fans. I was wondering since Mayweather hasn't given us a fan appreciation fight since his Ricky Hatton bout in 2007. Do you expect him to settle down more with combination punching by trading with Marcos Maidana or just simply outpointing him with movement, clinching and landing single counters and punches at a time? So I am just curious to know what do you all think? Will he fight or just box to an easy 12 round victory?

He walked down Canelo and the crowd screamed the entire fight. 2.2 million casual fans watched it and probably didnt even know that boxing could be executed on that level. He went toe to toe with Mosley but didnt throw allot of punches. He went toe to toe with Ortiz and threw some punches, but he was slow in that fight. Against Canelo it was like the Ortiz, Mosley, and JMM fight combined. The speed, combinations, flatfooted pocket style.

Floyd walked down Canelo and was trying to beat him up. Marcos is not even half the size of Canelo. Marcos doesnt have any power for Floyd. Floyd is stronger than Marcos and it will be like the Canelo fight with even LESS movement, and a less durable man on the opposite of Floyd's punches.

if you are clearly too good for the guys that are your size and you dont want to fight an ageing pacman, then find bigger trees to chop. nobody wants to watch fights that are not competitive. why not dare to be great? if cotto can fight sergio then why cant floyd? floyd is supposedly better than cotto?
