After fighting Agnew, Kovalev should fight the winner of Maccarinelli-Braehmer, and then Chilemba. Maybe he could also fight Murat.

If he wants to stay busy, there are a few names there. If Dawson comes back with a win now, he'd be another potential opponent.

I imagine Braehmer wouldn't fight outside Germany, but Kovalev has no problem fighting in foreign countries so he'd go there.

Sure it is an acceptable fight so that is good, I wouldn't go beyond that but it is an interesting contrast of styles that could possibly test Kovalev if Chilemba can mitigate the amount of damage he can take.

Chilemba would have to prove to be a much better boxer than I think he is to have a real chance, but he is a much more sound boxer than Sillahk so Kovalev should have to work harder to land big shots.

Yeeaaah...Braehmers pretty good, Chilemba and Enzo Mac? well... meh - good for each other perhaps, and Murat...really? - I'm yet to figure out how he got the Hopkins shot. The hell's he actually done (aside from a gifted win and draw against Campillo) except for losing to Cleverly (despite the stoppage being harsh IMO)?

Dawson just signed with Haymon...allow me to bet that he's not fighting Kovalev anytime soon - sadly he was about the only high profile potential opponent left for Sergei outside of Stevenson. Possibly co-incidental of course.

Just like everyone else, the fight I want to see is Stevenson-Kovalev. However, if that can't happen, or at least won't happen until later in the year, I wouldnt hate this match up.

He's no where near the boxer Sillahk is. Vlosov almost killed him in their fight. Kovalev makes extremely easy work here IMO. It ends just as the Sillakh fight.

Probably going to fight Hopkins again for a trilogy.

He's one of the few guys that could make Kovalev go rounds he's better defensively than Sillakh but he doesn't throw enough to win.

Sillahk is nothing and fights in a garbage fashion you should never dare call boxing. Now Kovalev might make easy work of Chillemba I don't deny that but he will have to work to actually get at him unlike Sillahk who fights wide open all the time which is why he lost to Grachev and why Kovalev didn't have to put much effort in finding Sillahk~
