Agnew did fight Mack, but I'm not sure if it was shown on TV.

I've never heard of Agnew so when I heard he'd fought Mack recently I assumed it was the one on the Golden Boy card.

There's hardly any footage of Agnew that I've seen so I'm not sure how good/bad/decent this guy is , it's kind of a wait and see.

Yeah , that was Thomas Williams who fought Mack and recently was the guy who beat White in that 1st round shootout.

I don't think I've seen Agnew, but I'd rather he got a chance than some retread like Murat or Cloud. Chilemba may be better, but he's a known quantity and his chances would be very slim. Both Kovalev and Stevenson were almost as unproven as Agnew just a year ago.

I don't see why Kovalev needs to fight Bellew or Dawson. Why should he follow Stevenson and beat his leftovers? No. He needs to walk his own path and fight different dudes. Bellew is not on his level and Dawson is shot. Chilemba is a good call, but so is Agnew. There is video on youtube of Agnew saying Kovalev is average. Plus Agnew is undefeated. I think Kovalev has a reason to fight Agnew. Why not? Shut his mouth and put a big blemish on that padded record of his.
