HBO could also use a bolster in May after pretty much losing all of April.

They have the Alvarado/JMM fight, which will cost a pretty penny.
Kovalev/Chilemba could be affordable and the HBO show in Macau at the end of the month will be comped by the Venetian

I saw him on the GGG/Stevens card, but it was untelevised I think
      Third time.

He fought Maxim Vlasov and Edison Miranda on ESPN2.

Kovalev should just follow his own path, he shouldn't wait or give Adonis too much respect like he is a major A-side.

If it doesn't happen though..... probably because of Haymon whispering.

Duva and GYM said they had everything pretty much agreed to.
I just don't like the sitting and waiting when they could be fighting
kovalev should do an interview with every boxing website, every boxing radio show, every boxing youtube channel, on as many boxing shows as possible exposing stevenson. pay his translator overtime. will make his stock go up and make him seem like the beast of the division without even having to fight.

then after that, wait a week and then move on and watch stevenson get beat up by a 50 year old.

Both Main Events, and I don't see Chilemba asking for drillions of dollars.
Kov would KO him easily :/...

I called for this fight before he fought Sillakh. Good fight IMO.

Like most Kovalev fights, it will be a good fight going in. When Kovalev wrecks him, Chilemba will then be considered a bum or tailor made.

Given the incrasingly limited options available to Kovalev, Chilemba is a reasonable option...after Sergei and Adonis' rampage through the division in 2013 there's very little left - unless anyone believes Haymon signed Chad with the. intention of sacrificing him to Kovalev.

Who else is there? Outside of BHop and Shumenov (with GBP) and Pascal. who has already indicated that he wants big money to fight Kovalev..take out Bellew and the guys he's already fought (also Fonfara) and there is nothing left better than Chilmba or Agnew

No way this fight looks like Kovalev-Sillakh. Sillakh was an excellent amateur, but he did nothing as a pro, he lacks toughness and doesn't have the best chin. Not a good sign when you have to face a puncher like Kovalev.

Chilemba has faced much better opposition and IMO he has the right style to trouble an offensive fighter.

I don't think Chilemba is good enough to beat Kovalev though, but he will give him a fight.
