I mean, honestly, you have to believe that Lacy's gonna have so much adrenaline going into this fight that he could have a heart attack as he's getting in the ring. This fight has been building for years.

I figure with that much going for you at this point, momentum and all, i don't see how anyone can stop the freight-train that is Lacy, from going right through Joe. i don't know, i wish i could see a few more Calzaghe fights to get an idea of what he can take..

Have someone get you his fight with Charles Brewer-great war that never gets talked about.

Scap raised some good points, but I just cant tell whether he is joking or not, since he cant go 5 minutes without cracking another joke.

          Calzaghe' speed, experience and heart

          Against

          Lacy's power, intensity and youth/momentum.

Im going for Joe to be honest, but I really dont see a problem with anyone going with Lacy since he appears to be a good fighter. I have only seen him once however.

I will need to watch Lacy vs. Venderpool again but I believe Lacy was hurt a couple times in that fight...dont sleep on Joe's power he is certainly not featherfisted!

Fair play, and I agree on the points you made.

Is it me or does Lacy seem not to box. He cant be strictly described as a boxer. His technique is good an all, but the fight that I watched, he was dominating the dude and then all the footwork went in the bin as he backed him up against the ropes, he was open to counters and his balance was poor.

Is that a proper observation? Cos thats definetly what I saw from Lacy in the fight I watched. He is OK, but he is no strict boxer... IMO.

He's a poor technical fighter, tbh.

Lacy has no business being pateint and trying to box Joe in this fight he has gotten where he is by overwhelming his oppoents with his volume punching (which also is a strength of Joe's-thats why this fight has fight of the year written all over the ****ing place).

If Lacy boxes (which he wont) he will lose a one sided decision.
